Baby Madeline

A few weeks ago I received an email about making a collage of a baby. I was excited about the challenge. Oh my goodness I am so excited to introduce you to Baby Madeline. I have to say that all babies are beautiful but Baby Madeline is amazing!!! When I showed up to her house I was greeted right away with smiles and a full belly so she was ready to take pictures.
All babies should be celebrated the way Madeline is celebrated. To love a child is one thing but Madeline's parents truly cherish her. Thank you for inviting me into your home and letting me spend time with your family.

Well I have always been intemidated by working with Textures.... I finally did it!!! (Gulp) I am nervous to put this up because i am not sure if I did this right but what do you think???

I miss my friend

Have you ever lost someone you loved??? About a year and a half ago I lost a very dear friend of mine. We had know each other since I was 6 years old and we were best friends in High school. On February 25, 2007 she died in a car accident. I was four months pregnant and I hadn't even told her yet. It is amazing how we can take life for granted. It had probably been a year since we had talked face to face but I still loved her and always considered her my best friend. The reason I am talking about her right now is because this band called Third Day has a song that helps me to remember what to do during times that I miss her. The song reminds me not to question God. Please watch and listen to the words of this song.

I love you Brittany!!! You will forever be the best friend I ever had. You are missed always, I wish you could meet my son. He is almost walking!!!

Boda Bag and Birthday

Well I finally have a camera bag!!! No more American Eagle bookbag. Do you know how embarassing it is to carry your lenses in a bookbag and then when you are changing the lenses you have to take EVERYTHING out. So the solution is a BODA BAG!!! I have seen many people do reviews on this bag and they all convinced me to get it so I did!! I love it too. It can easily carry my 70-200 and my 24-70 and my 40!! For other reviews check out Armin DeFiesta and Matthew DeJesus. Their reviews are a lot more detailed than mine. Here is my review:

Christopher's first birthday was last Saturday. It was a swell time (swell time?) anyways, it rained so we had to have the party indoors instead of at the park and it actually worked out for the better. All the babies got to crawl around and play with all the toys. Man we have so many toys now. Here is a picture of all the mommies and the babies. Mary and Kayla are missing from this picture!!!



Also my mom was here for a visit to help with the boy's party. Thanks for all your help mom . Here is your picture with Christopher.

Week off more like Month off

Ok well I think I have like four people that read my blog regularly so here is why I have been absent. First of all this is my son's birthday MONTH!! yeah I said it MONTH!!! He is so great and beautiful and getting so stinking big.













































Then my mom came in to town to help plan the party which is a big help but I have been so distracted. I have hardly looked on OSP and I have neglected my four blog readers. Sorry readers!!!
Well here is a note to all of my photo friends in the Tampa area get ready for this...... David Jay is coming to town!!! OH YEAH!!!!!
The Free to Suceed tour will be in Orlando and yours truly is already signed up.















Oh and also I had mentioned it before and I have been shooting for parent guide magazine and I will have a few pictures in the mag this edition and an ad!!! Woo Hoo I am so excited!! Here is an example of the magazine ad I created.




















Well I am not busy this month because it is the "birthday month" next month I am crazy busy because I put it all off till July...Ahh!! Well I hope to be able to blog every day in July lets see how that goes.

Tampa Bay Parent Guide

Senior Portriats

Alright Seniors of 2009 it is your time to shine!!! Are you ready for this, your senior pictures are very important, they are pictures that will be hung up in your parents house forever, you will send them in your invitations, they are very important!! Anyone can smile infront of a black screen but is that who you are??? DH Photography will capture who you are right now in your life!! Book now, we are already book to the middle of July.

Charleston

Well I went to Charleston for about two weeks and of course I loved it. I love Charleston, there really isn't a better city in my opinion. First of all it is beautiful and then there is just so much history every where. Not only is there history for the world but there is history for Chris and I. This city is where we dated and fell in love so it was great to bring baby Christopher there and go to all the places Chris and I use to go.
One of my goals this year is to be able to shoot an engagement session in Charleston. Man I am SO jealous of all the Charleston photographers, there is SOOOOO much to shoot there. It is just so romantic. Can you tell I am a fan???

Jack Bradford

While I was in Charleston I had THE PRIVLEDGE of getting to spend time with a few of my old friends from highschool. They just had a prescious baby boy and I loved getting to meet them. Being a new parent myself I love to see babies loved and THIS baby is LOVED!!! You can just tell in the way Brad and Bethany look in his eyes. God has an amazing way of blessing people and this family has been blessed with precious little Jack.
Thank you Brad and Bethany for allowing me to capture this precious time in your life. You already are wonderful parents and I know Jack will be blessed by your time and care you have given him. You are wonderful people, I am happy to know you both.

Blog catch up

Alright, I am a terrible person and have not caught up on my blogging. Here is the scoop. I have been in Charleston for the past two weeks and I have a lot to post and I will be doing that Tomorrow. So get ready for a lot of pictures and a lot of reading. Well just to get you through tomorrow I am going to have you watch a preview for this emotional movie. This is a true story and it is about a Czech father who's job was to watch for trains and lower the bridge. Anyways, the father brings his son to work and something tradgic happens where the father needs to decide on saving his sons life or saving the train full of people. It is very emotional and very sad but if you compare it to what God has done for us it will rock your world. God made the same choice, to save people who are oblivious to what He has done for them.
