Well sorry my friends that I have not written in a while. A lot of unexpected stuff has happened. As you know I have a new website!!! CLICK HERE FOR IT!!! I am so excited about it!!! I was also given the opportunity to shoot a wedding with the wonderful and marvelous Karyn Iserman this Saturday in Charleston!! So happy about that too!! Oh and last Saturday we went to the March for Babies in Safety Harbor!! I will post those pictures later, I am in Charleston right now and dont have my computer.
Lets just say it was the most fattening (is that a word??) walk ever!!! We got there and there was donuts and bagels and unlimited drinks. Then as we were walking they were handing out fruit, fruit snacks, and candy. Then at the finish line you get a KLONDIKE bar!!! Then you walked your way over to the lunch station for Hamburgers, Hot dogs, and Chips!!! Whoo Hoo walked off 300 calories, gained 3000!!!
Well since I dont have my computer I have no pictures to post but this has been a big controversial topic in the real world and in the Photography world.... What do you think about this picture?? Is this wrong or is this typical Hollywood?? Share your ideas... MOM, because she is probably the only one reading this and the only one who will respond. Thats ok as long as I have ONE fan!

Website!!

Whoo hoo!! We just ordered a website and it will be up and running by next week!! Sweet!! Now I will still be blogging everything but I will now have a formal website for new clients to check out. This is so important to our business and I am really excited about it. Here is a preview of what it looks like!! I am so excited!! With this I will have a new email address and a new gallery and ordering system!! I will let you know when it is up!!

Wallabies Kids

So this week we had a garage sale and it went great but after wards we had a few things left over so my friend and I went over to Wallabies to see if we could sell anything to them. They bought a few things from us but not much because they are really great with only accepting the best and selling the best. Well I made a few dollars at wallabies just to turn right around and by my son some more toys. Wallabies Kids is an upscale resale store that I get pretty much anything for Christopher that my mom hasn't gotten him already. I love Wallabies and trust them to keep up to date with what has been recalled and making sure that everything we buy is in the best of condition. Oh and even better than that, they are not expensive. So if you are in the New Port Richey area and need some toys or clothes for children stop there first!!!

Oh and as I prepared to shoot this picture I dropped my camera and broke my lens that I had save for FOREVER!!!! So I am really sad right now :(

Sarah

Ok fellas this is my friend Sarah. She is my girl at work and I wish I could hang out with her more than that (hint hint)!! Sarah and I have been trying to get together for pictures FOREVER and we finally did it! I am so excited because I am trying to show more individual portraits and she was the PERFECT Model!! I had her doing all the America's Next Top Model poses!! Oh and guess what she is single?? Can you believe it?? So check out Sarah!!

Philippus Family

When I got an email from my friend Jen asking me to take pictures of her family I got so excited!! Not only do I love taking pictures of families but I was looking forward to meeting the two little men in her life! Jen and Bill have two little boys and they are just adorable and made me smile. There is nothing like love from a child and these children made me want to love them and hug all over them. Also it just so happened that Bill's Dad was in town and was able to join us. What luck! Well thank you Philippus family for letting me be a part of you family for the hour I had a lot of fun and I can't wait to spend more time with you. Let's have a PLAY DATE!!

Busy Day Sneak Peak

I have had a really busy day today and it is late and I still have a few things to do but I wanted to post one picture from each of the shoots today. I had two portrait sessions, one was a family session and the other was a personal session. More details to come later. These are my favorites so far.

Photo Editing and Defining

I have had a few of my brides ask me about Photo Editing and Defining (more formally known as Post Processing)and why it is a part of their packages and why they have to pay for it so I am going to give you an example of why you would want this.
Evey picture that you see here on my blog comes from a digital slr but not straight out of the camera. In order not to miss a second of your event I leave my camera on one setting and fire away. Although now because I don't want to miss a moment, I am not adjusting the settings according to the lighting as often as I should, so the pictures will need help. So most of the pictures will need brightening or adding contrast or something. Each picture gets a little something that takes it from FABULOUS to FIERCE.... or whichever word is better ;)

So my friends, no matter who your photographer is make sure they include editing or as they will call it "Post Processing." It makes a good picture Fierce....or you know what I mean!!

Gavin

What can I say, Little Gavin has a little piece of my heart. We have a special bond with Gavin's mommy and daddy and it makes Gavin really special to me. I was suppose to have Christopher 9 weeks after Gavin but for some reason Amanda (Gavin's mommy) and I were in the hospital together. The boys just didn't want to be apart. Ever since then the boys have done a lot together and sweet little Gavin has been there to teach Christopher how to do things. You are amazing Gavin with your sweet smiles and your wild actions, I love you for the little boy you are and the great friend you will be to my son. Thank you my friends for letting me spend time with you and follow you around for a little while. I love you Gavin!!

Aden, Elliott, Griffin, and Mr.P

Yeah!!! I got to take some pictures of family finally. The other day my family went over Chris's cousin's house and I got to take pictures of Aden, Elliott, Griffin, and Justin (Mr.P). They have the best back yard for just hanging out and their boys love it. I have a feeling Christopher will be loving it too when he is older. Some of the boys were LOVING the attention while the other ones just wanted me to leave them alone. Thank you boys for being so well behaved, I love spending time with ALL of you!! I love you Family!!

Chris and Angie

Well this is Chris and Angie, they are my new fun friends. I have to say for this being my job they made it a lot of fun. It was really easy to get comfortable with them and Chris made me laugh the whole time. They are getting married in 2009 and getting a really good early start. So we went to Craig Park in Tarpon Springs and then Fred Howard Park. It always makes me happy to see couples that are really in love and just excited to start this new chapter in their life. Angie, you are marrying a great guy... loves to fish.... loves the simpsons and family guy.... loves woodworking....wow that sounds like my husband, which means Chris is perfect for you!!! Thank you for letting me be a part of this time in your life. You both are what makes being a photogrpher my dream job, thank you friends!!! Get ready Angie, bridals are next!!!

Adyson 6 months

This is little Ady Baby. She is Christopher's girlfriend....well not really but I like to play ;) Anyways we are great friends with her parents and yesterday I got the privledge of hanging out with them for an hour or so. Usually Fridays are Ady and Daddy day but today Leslie had off which made it a perfect opportunity for me to come over and take pictures. Ady is 6 months and she is actually crawling already!! She is crazy!! You know how they say women talk more then men, well it is true for infants too, she is always talking Christopher's ear off.
